Watch 2 Intense Clips from French Thriller Point Blank (À Bout Portant)

If you ever need to smuggle someone out of a hospital as well as outrun the police in a movie there's one man who the ways inside and thats film director Fred Cavaye. The French film maker has mastered the way to do it in his last film Pour Elle (Anything For Her,which was recently remade for Hollywood by Paul Haggis with Russell Crowe in Next 3 Days) and in his new flick POINT BLANK (A Bout Portant) which is out tomorrow in UK & Ireland. If you love the great French action thrillers of days gone by with a little bit of hollywood no brainer fun action Point Blank will be right up your street, its fast, intense as wel as exciting. My only concern is that the movie may only be seen by a limited audience simply down to theselfishness of few people (some who like to call themselves connoisseurs of movies) who are too lazy to watch a film with subtitles which is a shame as many would be surprised of the high (alot of the times better) standard of films with subtitles.

To celebrate the movies release tomorrow our good friends at Vertigo Films have sent us 2 fantastic intense clips which actually show the movies hero Samuel (Gilles Lelouche) smuggle a criminal (Roschady Zem) out a hospital and the second clip we see how to outrun the police in the Paris Metro.

Everything is going well for Samuel (Gilles Lellouche; Tell Know One/ Sherlock Holmes/ Mesrine/ Little White Lies) and Nadia (Elana Anaya; The Skin I Live In/ Sex and Lucia/ Van Helsing/ Talk to Her/ Mesrine), his beautiful wife. He is studying to become a registered nurse and she is expecting their first child. But everything changes when Nadia is kidnapped right in front of Samuel, who is knocked out cold, trying to stop the kidnapper. When he comes to, his phone is ringing; he has just three hours to get Startet (Roschdy Zem; Just Like a Woman/ The Cold Light of Day), a man who is under police surveillance, out of the hospital. Samuel’s destiny, now lays in the hands of Startet, a man who is not only wanted by the police! If Samuel wants to see his wife again, he has to act fast.
