You have to applaud a country who gives their film industry 100% support and they even have there own national film school which helps to produce the future Lars Von Triers, Susanne Bier's. Sadly in the UK trying to get the Conservative party to support British film industry is a non-starter they would rather destroy it like the Film Council, if only take sample of the Danes maybe British Film industry might have a clearer future ahead of it. Back in March we gave you Milad Alami NOTHING CAN TOUCH ME (Intet kan røre mig) teaser trailer and today the school has sent us the full theatrical trailer for the movie.
NOTHING CAN TOUCH ME is the graduation short for Alami and part of the students finals they must produce a short 30 minute film working from the first ideas through production to the finished film. Cinehouse over the past few months have covered several of the students films and the fillms have been sublime (we are big fans of the School!) and NOTHING CAN TOUCH ME is certainly an exceptional piece of work but it hasn't been an easy process for the filmmaker. The movie covers a sensative subject of High School Killings, sadly its a subject we here more and more off every day worldwide and some of the excuses so called experts use for the reasons for the shootings are absurd. The movie has had its fair share of controversy and producer Stinna Lemvigh Lassen very heated argument with a Copenhagen high school principal who didn't want them to shoot the film and he believed hiding the subject things will go away and as we know that's untrue.
Director Milad Alami said:
You always think of a shooter as someone completely crazy, but I wanted our main character to find out that she actually was very similar to him. That she experienced the same loneliness as he did and that in a different world they might have been friends. A friendship that could have released him of his loneliness and stopped the tragedy from happening.
When you watch the trailer you'll certainly see Alami has handled the movies subject with respect, NOTHING CAN TOUCH ME is harsh realistic movie and a strong one at that as well. We look forward to see more fantastic work from the Danish Film School's students in the near future, a big thanks to Stinna for sending us the trailer, poster and image.

The outsider Katrine survives a school shooting and is the only one to see who the shooter is. The hunt for the boy begins, and slowly Katrine realizes that she has more in common with him than any of her other classmates
