Christmas is a time of celebration, a time to celebrate the season of goodwill and peace to all men, its also a time when churches like to perform a annual play or PASTORELA. Emilio Portes Pastorela its not your average traditional christmas flick but this movie ain't from UK or USA it from Mexico. From the short teaser trailer below it seems this comedy breaks into world war 3 when a new priest takes over and he changes the traditional Pastorela into a more religious play and everyone wants to be old Nick the Devil.As you'll see from the trailer they had a devil but he's been taken off the part and he isn't a happy chappy.
Too many Christmas movies end up been very generic so its refreshing when someone tries something a little different, though there has been the odd movie or two similar to this but not as chaotic or funny looking! PASTORELA will be released in Mexico from November.
