One thing I always remember greatly about the 1980's was Tuesdays and Fridays on BBC 2 around 6pm they used to show the old classic sci-fi movies from the 1950's & 1960's. It was through coming home from school having the essentil tv dinner my love for science fiction started roll onto to present day technology has changed but my love for the sci-fi genre is still there. In 2009 a teaser trailer for a web series MERCURY MEN appeared but no actual episodes appeared online until now as SYFY channel has picked up the tab on this series which is inspired by the films of the 1950/1960's.
A sci-fi thriller web series. Edward Borman, a lowly government office drone, finds himself trapped, when the deadly Mercury Men seize his office building as a staging ground for their nefarious plot. Aided by a daring aerospace engineer, Edward must stop the invaders and their doomsday device, the Gravity Engine.
