First Trailer for Wes Anderson's MOONRISE KINGDOM

There's always something refreshing when a film maker with a distinctive style brings out a vibrant bouncy colourful, which is essentially Wes Anderson. After the interesting Mr Fantastic Fox 2011 was a year without  cinephiles are in a need of charm, witty deadpan humour and it looks like Anderson has kept the charm running from Mr Fox in his new one MOONRISE KINGDOM. There's times we cry out for film makers to change their ways for there own good but after seeing The Royal Tenenbaums Wes Anderson is one director you don't want to change !

As usual Wes Anderson never disappoints in his casting, you always Bill Murray, Harvey Keitel, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman some as we know Anderson regulars. The film also stars newcomers Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward who are actually the main characters for Moonrise Kingdom 1960's USA who are madly in love with each other and decide to run  away with each other. The pair go on an adventure but there is an storm coming and the adult decide to search the island high and low for them as times runs out.

What I'm really keen is to see Bruce Willis actually try make a effort to act in a decent serious film and with Bill Murray simply been Bill Murray , Moonrise Kingdom is looking a breath of fresh air in a stagnant cinematic world. No word on the UK&Irish release date but American cinephiles can catch the film May 25th.

Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl’s parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl.
