Last night the Material girl herself Madonna was in Old London Town for the Premier of her upcoming romantic drama W.E.The new romantic drama that tells the story of the famous affair between Wallis Simpson and King Edward the 8th, who abdicated the throne to be with the woman he loved.
The film played Venice, London film festivals last year leaving heavily criticised prompting Madonna to head back into the editing suite to cut, edit to make sure this time everything will go down better the second time around. So far the feedback in the early UK reviews are a little more positive even reading some stating the 53 year old actress come director could be in line for one of the Oscars (nominations announce next week). Our friends at The Big Picture where at the red carpet event and have kindly created this new featurette from the premier which we can enjoy interviews with the cast Andrea Riseborough, James D’Arcy, Richard Coyle, Natalie Dormer, producer Kris Thykier and writer/director Madonna.
Unfortunately our preview screening for the film seemed to have been lost in the post (thanks guys!) but we don't have long to wait as the W.E arrive in UK&Irish cinema's from January 20th.
