Watch Danish Actioner Darkland New Trailer

Fenar Ahmad’s Darkland (Underveden) is hotting up to be one of 2017  and who there's only one actor you can have a lead, that's  Dar Salim.

From Game Of Thrones, A Hijacking, A War, Borgen and The Bridge, there seems to be nothing Salim hasn't starred in. Ahead of it's release in Denmark and this week's news that Studiocanal (and news of worldwide distribution elsewhere too) are set to release the movie in UK&Ireland an new trailer has been released.

The film tells the story of Zaid, played by Salim, a successful surgeon who lives with his pregnant girlfriend, played by Christensen. One night, Zaid’s younger brother knocks on his door and asks for money. Zaid refuses, but a few days later, his brother is assaulted and killed.
With little help from the police, Zaid feels obligated to find out who murdered him and embarks on a mission to eliminate all criminal gangs in Copenhagen by disguising himself and entering the criminal underworld. He must decide if the price of revenge is worth risking it all.

The movie also marks Salim's break from the usual hardworking supporting actor to potentially breakout movie.Darkland is director's second feature and it's very stylish, slick with a lot going for it.

Darkland is set for s 2017 release date in UK. The movie stars also Stine Fischer Christensen (After The Wedding), Roland Møller (Land Of Mine), and Dulfi Al-Jabouri (A War).
