Here's a beautiful little trailer for the indie drama AN ARTIFICAL LIGHT created by Tim Courtney. I dont know much about it apart from the post Quietearth has done on it. From what I can gather its a relationship drama about a man who has recently split up from his girlfriend and he is trying to deal with the situation by taking a tripback down  memory lane.
I do love the grey monetone look and backed with the good music it gives the movie a sweet but tranquil feel to it, if you think about it thats what the main character is trying to get some peace of mind so he can move on. As for any release information I have nothing but I believe the movie is doing the rounds at the Sundance festival in USA.

Things are starting to look bright in Malik's life, when he's diagnosed with terminal cancer and faces a difficult decision: Leaving his hometown to recieve medical care that would perhaps prolong his life - or stay in Nuuk with family and friends and die within a few months. Malik and his childhood friend Mikael decide to go on a the last boat trip into the fiord, where they seek out the carefree world of their childhood. During this boat trip, the two friends rediscover their friendship and Malik is given an opportunity to come to terms with his own imminent death.
(synopsis: IMDB ).

Everytime I here of Greenland I only think of the country been a vast barren area with a very small population, but credit due to them. The trailer below and the movie does look like it was beautifully shot and will do some justic to the country as well possibly on tourist front. The movie was released in November in Greenland but 23rd January it will get a limited release in USA, as for UK & Ireland I dont really know

Woke Trailer

No comments:
When people complain about little things in life they cant have, why not think for a minute at those who cant have those little things you moan about or even cant enjoy them properly. Narcolepsy is one thing you dont want, its a condition you never know when you can fall asleep, In WOKE Scoot our lead male character has this condition.

Woke is a story about Scot (Chris Gaede) a narcolepic man and a Nora (Caroline Macey) a woman sent to to take Scott to his childhood home and during the adventure they have getting there the couples relationship blossoms and becomes romantic. This is a simple but beautiful little looking movie which is simple with a twist of mystery and oddness thrown in for good measure
