There's only so many remake's one can get excited about in the era of virtually every new movie is a remake, prequel of an old one 13 ASSASSINS is one we're rather excited about.
The updated version has been directed by Takashi Miike  (audition, ichi the killer)and  has been described as the 'dirty dozen set in the samuri era', well thats enough to get me excited about it! When the movie is already a classic and with quite a few of the most inspirational movies of all time coming from the land of the rising sun, you'll have to tread on thin ice not to be disrespectful to the original but also pay homage but add your touch as well.

A group of assassins come together for a suicide mission to kill an evil lord.

The movie will be out in Japan September 25th and is sure to be a massive hit, so check out the new teaser trailer after the break plus the first full trailer which came out the week before as well...

I'm in agreement with the source of this trailer, South Korea especially the past few years have given the movie world some cracking movies and the trailer for this movie MOSS directed by Kang Woo-seok.
The movie is based on a popular internet comic, check out the trailer after the break...

RYU Mok-hyeong, a member of a small prayer house located in a remote mountain village, is well-respected for his leadership and gift of speech.
In order to build a new prayer house Mok- hyeong leaves the mountains to build a new village with the help of his friend, Yong-duk. Many years pass and Mok-hyeong is discovered dead after sharing a bottle of rice wine with Yong-duk.
Mok-hyeong’s good for nothing son, RYU Hae-guk, arrives from Seoul to attend his father’s funeral. Hae-guk soon realizes that the villagers are trying to hide something from him leading him to seek the help of PARK Min-uk, the public prosecutor responsible for his demotion to a local branch during his more reckless past.
Hae-guk plans to conduct his father’s autopsy himself, but arrives at his father’s grave only to find his corpse missing. Hae-guk suspects that Yong-duk is responsible.

Back at the start of March I posted the Trailer for The Girl Who Played With Fire (Flickan som lekte med elden) the follow up to The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo and now the movie has a UK realease date below is the international trailer for the same movie.
The movie has been pencilled in for a August 27th UK/Irish cinematical release with Noomi Rapace (Salander) and Mikael Nyqvist (Michael Bloomkvist) reprising there roles once more. I havent seen the first movie but I beleive there could be the minor things could spoil this one, but nothing big though.
The second movie sees Slanader & Blomkvist return back to the Millenium to expose a suspected sex trafficking ring and with 2 reasearchers murdered Salander is framed becoming the Polices cheif suspect. Not convinced Bloomkvist searches for the fleeing Salander to get the truth but on that quest Salander unveils a few of her own dark secrets.
Once again Im unsure reading the 3 books of this trilogy before checking out the movies so I can have a opened mind when I do see the movies.,I’ve did it with The Road and I have more admiration for the movie now. What I’ve read about this movie it is a very solid strong film possibly not as good as movie one but good enought to check out. The first movie is going to get the hollywood remake treatment with Se7en henchmen David Fincher directing, so Im sure this movie will follow suit as with the last movie The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest which came out this year in its native Sweden.

Check the trailer and Synopsis after the break...
