About 2 weeks ago I posted the trailer for Benny Chan's maniac mutant american comicbook inspired movie City Under Siege now it has its main trailer which you can watch above and will be out on August 12th. It looks even more cheesier but hey comicbook inspired movies are the populas in movies worldwide so we cant argue but its from Hong Kong so the martial arts will be good though.

Synopsis: Sunny (Aaron Kwok) is a clown in a circus act but he aspires to be a top performer just like his dad, The King of Flying Knife. While in Malaysia, Sunny and a few of his circus performer friends go for a treasure hunt, stumbling upon barrels of bio-chemicals left from the war.
Upon returning, some of the members are mutating due to inhaling the bio-chemicals but Sunny seems fine from the exposure. They gain extraordinary superhuman powers. The leader of the entertainment outfit Chang Tai Chu (Colin Chou)decides to use this newfound strength to do evil.
As there is an increase of crime in the city, the media and the police get involved. Kungfu master Suan Hou (Wu Jing) and policewoman Xin Hua (Zhang Jin Chu) enter the fray, while Angel (Shu Qi), a reporter who is recently demoted, also pursues the case in hopes of rescuing her flagging career.

Below is the French trailer for Julian SchnabeL's movie MIRAL starring Slumdog Millionaire's Frieda Pinto, Willem Dafoe,Vanessa Redgrave and Alexander Siddig.
Hiam Abbass plays a Palestinan woman who sets ( real) orphanage in Jerusalem and Pinto plays Miral a girl who grows up in the orphanage becoming a activist when she is assigned to teach at a refugee camp and sees the whole outcome that Palestinians & Israelis dont get on well with each other.
The movie will annoy a few folks especially in States as politically could be seen as left wing and the shocking thing is The Weinstein Company are releasing this movie in USA?! The messege of this film will be alot more forceful than Schnabels last movie Diving Bell and the Butterfly which is a big hit with many critics.
Miral is due out late 2010.

trailer after the break....
