We do love our zombie releated movies here at cinehouse and we love them more when they try to change the sub-genre a little mix it up into something different or use what they have in resources to the max and this short movie MORBID certainly does that. What' so good about this movie is the very little use of dialogue or in some cases no dialogue which gives a movie more mood and tension so with this been a zombie movie it works perfectly. I watched Vincent Gallo's Essential Killing (out April 1st UK) at Glasgow Film Festival and this movie had no dialogue from Gallo with very little from the other cast members that really built a great tension of confusion, disorientation and fear of Gallo's character a terrorist prisoner on the run in a foreign land. With Morbid they use there surroundings to their best with the editing style also helping out the tension, so you better check this out!
