Hot off the heels of
Cave of Forgotten Dreams (which is still playing in some cinemas around London) comes
Werner Herzog's latest excursion into the dark heart of human existence. Ominously titled
Into the Abyss --a title that could be emblazoned on any of Herzog's previous works, really-- his latest documentary which premieres at
TIFF centres around the victims and perpetrators of a triple homicide murder case in Texas. One of the convicted is eight days away from facing the death penalty.
