"LET'S GO!" New Trailer & TV Spot For Anime Inspired Chinese SciFi!

Are you like me love the camp cheesy pop culture of 1960's/1970's/1980's Japanese films? Sometimes it's that bad it's actually good?of course you do what if we had a Chinese film which combines those elements into a film described as 'anime come to life'? Yes We do, it's Ching-Po Wong's LET'S GO. The description was perfect as what we see is straight out of a retro anime, fast, frantic with an extra doze of Chinese martial arts fun making it authentic as well as further prove you can make a fantastic looking film with a micro budget!

Via the magic of the internet Filmsmash via Beyond Hollywood bring you a new trailer for thefilm (with English subtitles) and tv spot to get you into the mood for an exciting weekend of chilling out, relaxing and of course watching great films!

A street-wise young man (Juno Mak) is offered a job as a bodyguard for a powerful gang boss (Wang Yu). Soon, he becomes embroiled in a violent battle against a sinister, power-hungry super-villain (Gordon Lam), forcing him to take up his destiny as a protector for all that is good. Paying homage to 1980s Japanese superhero cartoons like SPACE EMPEROR GOD SIGMA, director Wong Ching-po (REVENGE A LOVE STORY) and action director Nicky Li (INVISIBLE TARGET) combine slick stylized action with an inspiring underdog story to create a wildly entertaining superhero origin film – Hong Kong action cinema-style!

I do hope this arrives in UK but for you lucky people over the other side of the world in Hong Kong November 10th is the day to check the movie out.
