Love Meccha? You'll Love The K3lOID Trailer!

I would love to go into the voice of that guy who does the voice over for that tv advert for a certain High Street Store, the one that tells us that what we're eating is no ordinary food, its that store with a M and S (naughty!)food. That slogan would be perfect if you adore films, animations with Meccha in it your going to love K3liod a new short film about humans hunting for a rogue artificial intelligence. The idea of artificial Intelligence or A.I has been around a very long time since the early days of computers but its how we adapt the idea as technology develops at a fast pace. This is a film with big ideas, they have Greg Broadmore from Weta onboard a company that's made its name from Lord Of The Rings, Avatar, Rise of The Planet of The Apes, 3 films that actually showcase the progression of special effects and animation which we know is near photo-realistic. Aaron Beck is responsible for the fantastic meccha suit design with Amon Tobin providing the soundtrack to the short which looks impressive. This is only a trailer fingers crossed we will see this in its full glory and what we can see from the trailer is K3liod is a creepy, sinister looking especially those mannequins! check it out below!

Eliezer S. Yudkowsky* wrote about an experiment which had to do with Artificial Inteligence. In a near future, man will have given birth to machines that are able to rewrite their codes, to improve themselves, and, why not, to dispense with them. This idea sounded a little bit distant to some critic voices, so an experiment was to be done: keep the AI sealed in a box from which it could not get out except by one mean: convincing a human guardian to let it out.
What if, as Yudkowsky states, ‘Humans are not secure’? Could we chess match our best creation to grant our own survival? Would man be humble enough to accept he was superseded, to look for primitive ways to find himself back, to cure himself from a disease that’s on his own genes? How to capture a force we voluntarily set free? What if mankind worst enemy were humans?
In a near future, we will cease to be the dominant race.
In a near future, we will learn to fear what is to come.
