It's 2050 the world has been ravaged by natural disasters, the sun is gone replaced by constant dark ash, dark 24-7 no animals or even plants live so why not eat each other? The basis of Monika Blazkiewicz's The End set in an abandoned city Sam and Vincent with his pet rat Bacon are our characters in this short film Sam a positive guy wanting to do good for the world with Vincent only caring about Bacon as well as surviving. Sam's fault he's too trusting especially of Vincent and as the film progresses could prove his downfall!
2012 is only weeks away and Blazkiewicz goes for Mayan prophecy the world will be ending exactly 1 year 17 days, global disasters may loom.what this is doing is telling us to look at ourselves and even if the Mayan prophecies don't happen we will be the catalyst of our own destruction !
