Martin Villeneuve's (younger brother of Dennis) French Canadian Sci-Fi MARS ET AVRIL, finally has an wonderful looking trailer for all to enjoy. The film is based on a series of Graphic Novel's by Francois Schuiten with Martin's brother Denis (who directed this year's Oscar nominated flick Incendies) scripting set in a world where migration to the planet Mars is a common occurrence but for one man Jacob (Jacques Languirand) the leader of a anti-cybernetic group isn't just ready to make that step and through the film we see Jacob take the steps which could possibly see him move eventually.
Visualluy this looks gorgeous though some scenes do look a little rugged at times but overall the look (which is of Arthouse in nature) see this film overcome the budget constraints which seem to plague it's previous Canadian counterparts. Mars Et Avril stars the legendary Canadian actor Robert LePage, Caroline Dhavernas and Paul Ahmarani, no word exactly when in 2012 this will be released in Canada.
