This looks superb, nothing better than a indie sci-fi fest mashed up with steampunk, Western set in Post Apocalyptic world, watch the official trailer for Abraham Dieckman's TRASH AND PROGRESS. This is an ambitious looking low budget sci-fi that's further proof that money doesn't bring you a great looking and at times successful film, this one hopefully be on the festival circuit sometime this year or in time for 2013 festival run.
A rookie journalist has returned to the abandoned frontier of Earth to write a career-making story about the descendants of those who were left behind. There she finds a decaying society ruled through fear by a mysterious, ageless despot.This is the official trailer for our indie sci-fi feature, shot in San Francisco and finished in 2012. I directed the film with the help of some very talented, professional Bay Area individuals.
