Power Rangers Are GO! PW Creator with Trailer For Indie Flick DARK METROPOLIS
Dark Metropolis from Indican Pictures on Vimeo.
sourceQuietEarth
Its just been released on DVD in USA/Canada DARK METROPLIS comes from the mind of Power Rangers creator Stewart St.John. The movie is set 300 years into the future when a race genetically created raised and abused by humans now finds they are the rulers, sont expect spandex multicoloured uniforms or big rubbery monster Dark Metropolis is like a cross between THX-1138 crossed with Dune and Dark City. Dystopian movies are usually quite miserable, bleak like 1984, Metropolis, etc.... but this does have those element but it also has a heavy dose of good old spiritual ethos thrown in "can I get a halleujah!!!"
Dark Metopolis stars Bailey Chase, Eric Scott Woods, Arthur Roberts and Ron Perlman.

No Leg Openers Here just good old Spy fun Trailer for LARGO WINCH 2
source Twitch
Who said it was just Hollywood who could just create the big glossy blockbuster action flicks? No one did and if there somebody they never told Belgian filmmaker
Jérôme Salle. On 16th February, 2011 LARGO WINCH 2 will be released in Belgium a movie based on the popular graphic Novels created by Philippe Francq about a young man who inherits a massive empire after his adoptive father is murdered.
Is it me does this sound like Green Hornet mixed up with James Bond plus a few other movies im sure I can think off?!Im not saying this is a bad thing well they do have a few leg openers in the form of some fantastic car chases and Sharon Stone (Cleese in south Africa and Kietel in SouthKorea, times must be hard here!).
Largo Winch comicbooks are really popular in the French speaking parts of the world but Forbidden Planet comicbooks do have in stock the english language version of the books!!!
LARGO WINCH 2: THE BURMA CONSPIRACY is out in Belgium on February 16th,2011 trailer after the break...

French Trailer For Pablo Larrain's POST MORTEM
SourceTWITCH
We all love our movies dont we? Off course we do I wouldnt have created this blog and you guys wouldnt be here reading this post so we love when filmmakers create a fantastic movie. So after they create that great movie we antcipate there next movie and hope that they suceed or at equal that sucess and this is the case for Chilean director Pablo Larain. A few years back he brought us the highly sucessful Tony Manero, the serial killer who was inspired by John Travolta's Saturday Night Fever character, so the pressure has been on him but after been selected for this years Venice Film Festival with POST MORTEM.
The movie is set in the backdrop of the 1973 Chilean political uprisings and revolves around Victor a middle aged man who helps out at the local Mortary documenting the bodies that come through there doors. As this is the 1970's Chile it was one certain Facist dictator General Pinochet who overthrew the government in power, sadly his biggest ally was another facist dictator Margaret Thatcher!
We can say Larrain has suceeded himself with this movie, check out the French trailer after the break...
