Gas Masks On! Watch Yukihiro Shoda's Beautiful Short Blind

It mind sound morbid in some peoples eyes but a disaster be it natural or man made sometimes is the trigger to make some outstanding film making, The March 11th Japanese Earthquakes certainly inspired Japanese film maker Yukihiro Shoda who has created this superb little short BLIND. We might laugh off disasters as pure fantasy "never happen in my time" but that tragic day in Japan no one expected that to happen so paranoia, gas masks send warning signals this movie is painfully truthful in the sense it could happen and the movie shows a possibly way of life. Blind tells the story of a everyday salaryman a world where gasmask is a essential part of life and a daily routine takes a strange turn. I really love in the film some of the gasmask have been custom decorated, blingy in a way some people decorate there expensive phones,.

Thi movie has doing the rounds of the film festivals world wide, it actually played Glasgow Film Festival in February and I really have to check out the short film festival if the movies been shown are as high in quality as Blind, impressive stuff and if your a post apocalyptic fan you should check this one out.
