We haven't been posting many Shorts, which is a shame as sometimes we can be selfish and ignore these great little films. History of film has shown some of the best feature film makers have roots in short film, it's what film schools try to learn students its the perfect stepping stone into feature film, a great test of your current skills. We love the diversity of genres tease us to support the filmmakers to expand that short into a full length feature.For the short film according to its creators Glow production,The Last Tree is a cinematic trailer for an upcoming project.

The Last Tree is set in not too distant future, trees are discovered to be the most prominent source of energy. The world has since then came to the bleakest age of war and military suppression. This film follows a girl - "Theresa" who is a member of "Preservers" which comprises a small fraction of survivors. She is being pursuit by clone troop in a deserted land because she holds an important piece of information that could determine the fate of humanity.
When it comes to animated or CGI Animated films we sometimes don't give the credit when it's due. Glow Productions is a studio with roots in not just Japan but also China and the UK.The setting reminds me alot of Maze Runner post apocalyptic earth ironically alot like Wes Ball's Ruin, character design similar to Final Fantasy. The short film is only under 2 minutes long and you can see the point its more like a scene from an upcoming feature.
