Back in July we where able to watch the first trailer's for Zhang Jeibei's upcoming Horror thriller MIDNIGHT BEATING. The early trailers indicated something creepy as well something slasher style but you could tell that this movie was more than what was been promoted until now the new trailer reveals more and that the hospital the movie is set in may also be haunted by some supernatural being/creature which does up the ante a little on the movie.
What a way to bring in Christmas by watching this movie which will be out December 24th(Hong Kong/China), Midnight Beating also stars Simon Yam, Francis Ng, Yao Di, Yang Yuyu, and Li Nian

The Creator of Ring 1 & 2 Hideo Nataka’s new pyschological thriller CHATROOM has had its first offical UK Trailer premiered today. The movie stars Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) Imogen Poots (28weeks Later), Hannah Murray (Skins) and Mathew Beard in a movie been described as the anti social network, a movie of cat and mouse using the true power of the internet for darker benefits chasing victims across the internet.

Chatroom has had a trailer around for a little while if you search hard and long you would find the trailerr for the Japanese release but the movie is been released by Revolver Entertainment and below is an clearer version. Chatroom will be out in UK on December 22nd.

BLINKY is a story of a boy and his robot and the boy been Max Records from last years hit Where The Whild Things are. This make look a nice squeeky clean friendly robot kind of thing but as the short teaser progresses things look likely to go loco in acapulco as his metallic little friend may go corrupt.!

When I read the opening lines from the source of this post "Never trust a hippy" I havent got a clue what Pablo Illanes' was all about especially with his new movie BABY SHOWER and frankly still dont!
The movie has been labelled Chile's first Slasher/Gore movie and the evidence on hand it does look the case and its also Illanes cinematic debut as well as all his career has been in television. We love our animation and Japanese anime especially at Cinehouse (& The Peoples Movies), we may not be right up to date but we love to show you guys some of the anime catching our eye at the moment. One of those anime is Hoshi o Ou Kodomo: Children who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below and thanks to Yahoo Japan you can check the first teaser trailer above.

The film centers on Asuna, a girl who spends her solitary days listening to the mysterious music emanating from the crystal radio she received from her father as a memento. However, she embarks on a journey of adventure to meet a boy again, and thus comes to know the cruelty and beauty of the world, as well as loss.

Not as maniac as Gaspar Noe but just as odd as well as compelling below after the break you'll find the trailer for KNIFER.
This is not exactly a new trailer as I posted this originally in August as Macherovgaltis(Μαχαιροβγάλτης)  but now the trailer has been repackaged with its new English name KNIFER. Thanks to the sucess of Dogtooth, Attenburg around the Film Festival circuit, now Yannis Economides is trying to follow suit and looking at the evidence he should do fairly well. So if you like your movies a mixture of arthouse elegence, weirdness with plenty of drama you should check this one out ....

Hideyuki Hirayama’s Oba: The Last Samurai (Taiheiyo no Kiseki: Fox to Yobareta Otoko) has had a new trailer unleashed via its icial website . The movie is inspired by former World War 2 American Solider Don Jones, set on the island of  Saipan lead by a Japanese General called Sakae Oba, aka Fox who led the last remaining soldier units on the island before surrending on December 1945, 3 months after the empire surrendered to Americans.
Yutaka Takenouchi plays the fox and Toshiaki Karasawa, Takayuki Yamada, Tomoko Nakajima, Mao Inoue, Yoshinori Okada, Sadao Abe, Hideyuki Hirayama, and Bengal. Sean McGowan, Treat Williams, and Daniel Baldwin

Yoshihiro Fukagawa’s BYAKUYAKU has had a new trailer debuted online thanks to the movies official website .The movie is based on a crime thriller by  Keigo Higashino  which was printed via literature magazine Shousetsu Subaru for two years from 1997 to 1999. This isnt the first time the story has been adapted as it was created in 2006 for a tv version which starred Haruka Ayase and Takayuki Yamada.
The movie version will be released by Gaga Communication with the theatrical realease in Japan on January 29th, 2011, trailer and synopsis after the break...
