First trailer for Luc Besson Produced Animation MONSTER IN PARIS

He's the man who brought French action movies to a wider audience, gave Bruce Willis his first sci-fi flick and brought prehistoric birds to 20th century Paris, Luc Besson and now he's trying his hands at 3D Animation. Besson is the producer of MONSTER IN PARIS (Monstre A Paris), his next step towards creating more  family based movies but dont despair action movie fans, he's only diversing his palette action movies wont be forgotten! The movie is directed by Bibo  Bergeron (Shark's Tale) and for a French based movie it does boast a international cast which includes Danny Huston, Cahterine O'Hara, Vanessa Paradis, Adam Goldberg, Bob Balaban and Sean Lennon.

The movie is due out in France October 19th and with the international cast behind it dont be surprised if the movie does get some cinematic time in UK&Ireland probably early 2012.

Paris, 1910. Panic sweeps the city. Floodwaters are rising and a monster is on the loose! Formidable Commissioner Maynott and his men hunt it down day and night. With no luck. It could be that in the limelight at The Rare Bird, a Montmartre cabaret where feisty Lucille is the star attraction, isn't a bad place to hide at all!

Who said it was just Hollywood who could just create the big glossy blockbuster action flicks? No one did and if there somebody they never told Belgian filmmaker
Jérôme Salle. On 16th February, 2011 LARGO WINCH 2 will be released in Belgium a movie based on the popular graphic Novels created by Philippe Francq about a young man who inherits a massive empire after his adoptive father is murdered.
Is it me does this sound like Green Hornet mixed up with James Bond plus a few other movies im sure I can think off?!Im not saying this is a bad thing  well they do have a few leg openers in the form of some fantastic car chases and Sharon Stone (Cleese in south Africa and Kietel in SouthKorea, times must be hard here!).
Largo Winch comicbooks are really popular in the French speaking parts of the world but Forbidden Planet comicbooks do have in stock the english language version of the books!!!

Koen Mortier made a name for himself with his debut movie EX-Drummer a movie about disabled guys creating a  rockband who hire a local writer to play drums and all there new drummer can do is manipulate them. The movie gots a massive cult following worldwide and rightly so and now the Belgium director is back with a more shattering  movie 22 MAI (may) which is due to have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
The movie centre's arounda security guard called sam who is a guard at a small shopping mall that becomes a victim of a terrorist explosion, its a more somber affair than Mortier's previous movie and I really love the slow motion of the trailer as when life changing events happen they happen fast and reality doesn't sink in but if slow things down you start to get a feel of whats just happened! ... While everything around him is burning, Sam tries his best to help. He drags a woman outside against her will. She is screaming, struggling to get back inside to save her child. But Sam is already back on the scene, trying to rescue other victims, all of them just as helpless as he is. They are strewn over the floor, covered in blood, their clothes shredded to pieces, feeling utterly lost. As their cries turn into screams, Sam is overpowered by fear and panic. First there was the shock, then the realization of what happened. Without thinking, he starts to run, turning his back to the apocalyptic scene. This Wednesday Luc Besson's Les aventures extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-Sec  will hit the cinemas of Belgium & France (no word yet of UK/Irish theatrical release date yet) and the movie's studio Europacorp (whom distribute in UK & Ireland) have released 4 new clips from the highly antcipated movie.
I'm affraid there's no subtitles but it's a good chance to learn your French a little or just simply admire the whole look of the movie....

When I was invited to the press Launch of This years (month's) Glasgow Film Festival I was so eager to see the programme for The Frightfest @ Glasgow (UK's biggest horror/fantasy festival) apart from [Rec]2, Splice and Frozen it was that Helene Cattet & Bruno Forzani's homage to all things Giallo AMER was going to get its U.K premiere as well!!!
Both directors will be attending  to present the movie and I'm still waiting on my press passess which im hoping that I get a pass to see this. Over the years Ive came to love everything Italian inspired from my best schoolfriend, to a ex-girlfriend, to the food and actually working in Sorrrento Italy as well. Through these times ive met great people as well as many movie fans more die hard than me who introduced me to alot of classic horror/thrillers I wouldnt have looked at before including Giallo. From there my passion has grown.

Amer just looks so brillant! stylish, classic but modern enough to keep any modern thriller/horror fan happy, anyway less of me read the synopsis and enjoy the trailer!
